1. Our commitment
Chain Bridge Corp. ("Ursus") wants everyone to be able to manage their money with us, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities and people using assistive technology. This statement covers the Ursus website and app, including account opening, identity verification (KYC), wallet, swap and card screens.
3. Current status
Ursus is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA: we have built it to the standard, and we are still testing and fixing known gaps.
4. What we do
- Semantic page structure, headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, icons and the logo; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and interface controls; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator and no keyboard traps.
- Text that resizes to 200% and reflows on small screens without loss of content.
- Labelled form fields, clear error messages and instructions, including in the KYC flow.
- Respect for reduced-motion settings: animations, including the animated hero on the home page, stop or simplify when the user prefers reduced motion, and no content flashes more than three times a second.
- Captions or transcripts for any video we publish.
5. Identity verification and accessibility
Identity checks should not shut anyone out. If you cannot complete the document upload, selfie or liveness step because of a disability, contact us and we will offer an alternative route, such as manual review of documents, a verification call with a staff member, or help from a trusted person you name. We will protect your privacy in that process under our Privacy Policy. Authentication does not rely on a single sensory channel: you can choose between app-based codes, email and, where available, hardware keys.
6. Known limitations
- Some third-party components, such as the embedded identity-verification widget and the card network's 3-D Secure pages, are provided by partners and may not fully meet WCAG. We have asked them to fix the issues and will provide an alternative where we can.
- Some older PDF documents (statements, fee schedules) may not be fully tagged. We can provide an accessible version on request.
7. Feedback and requests
If you meet an accessibility barrier or need information in another format (large print, plain-language text, accessible PDF), contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
Please tell us the page or screen, what went wrong, your device and the assistive technology you use. We reply within 5 business days and aim to fix or offer a workaround within 30 days.
8. Review
We review this statement and test our key flows at least once a year and after major releases, and we update it when something changes.
